Lift Yourself Up with LIFT the Musical, opening at Southwark Playhouse

GARTLAND Productions are here to bring a brand-new production of LIFT. Set in a London underground lift, in one man’s imagination, the show takes place over its 1-minute journey to the surface. In that short time, we explore who people are beneath the surface, the secrets that are kept underground and the unspoken connection that people have.

The company is led by X Factor finalist Luke Friend who will play the role of Busker. He will also be joined by a cast of new and old performers, including west end stars Hiba Elchikhe, coming direct from the recent UK tour of Everybody’s Talking About Jaime, and Kayleigh Mcknight, most recently known for her performance in the cult-classic Heathers.

They will be accompanied by Jordan Broatch, who is already at the Southwark Playhouse current performing in Anyone Can Whistle, and Marco Titus.

Following Gartland Production’s passion for supporting graduates, making their professional debut are Cameron Collins, Tamara Morgan and Chrissie Bhima.

LIFT will run at the Southark Playhouse from 13th May 2022.
