Barn blaze in Harefield

A barn fire on Hill End Road in Harefield was attended by four fire engines and approximately 25 firemen on May 11.

A single-storey barn in a large field was destroyed by the fire. An on-site tractor was used to assist in turning over and damping down areas with remaining hot spots. There have been no injuries reported.

The fire department was dispatched at 02:02 AM, and the fire was out by 04:49 AM. The site was attended by fire teams from Ruislip, Hillingdon, Harrow, Stanmore, and Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
