Flag at half mast in Uxbridge
THE flag at Uxbridge Civic Centre is flying at half mast this evening following the death of Sir David Amess MP.

The Conservative MP for Southend West was reportedly stabbed "a number of times" at his constituency surgery in Belfairs Methodist Church in Eastwood Road North in Southend West.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip said: "All our hearts are full of shock and sadness at the death of Sir David Amess MP. He was one of the kindest, nicest, most gentle people in politics."
John McDonnell, MP for Hayes and Harlington said this evening: "We are all shocked and saddened to hear David Amess has died as a result of this appalling attack. I send my condolences and deepest sympathy to David's family and friends."
A 25 year old man was arrested at the scene
