Front page of the third edition of the Hillingdon Herald

Residents could give themselves an extra special festive treat by grabbing the latest copy of The Hillingdon Herald.

Your new local paper's third edition is now out in print and available at a number of locations around the borough.

This month's edition is packed with news and views as well as columns from your local politicians, including MPs Boris Johnson, John McDonnell and David Simmonds.

There is also a focus on a 'huge drop' in the number of rough sleepers plus a wealth of stories and features about key news and sport developments in the local area - including an in-depth interview with Professor Benjamin Zephaniah.

Head of News Steve Cohen said: "We have been very pleased and encouraged by the response we have received from the local community which has shown the need for a vibrant local traditional print newspaper in the area. It's still relatively early days for us but we really appreciate the support we have been given by readers and community leaders."
