Youth charged with murder after death of 16-year-old in Yiewsley

A 16-year-old male was due to appear in Ealing Youth Court today (January 4) charged with murder following the death of another 16-year-old boy in Yiewsley.

The boy was found at Philpot's Farm Open Space close to Heather Lane on Thursday, 30 December with a puncture wound, according to the Metropolitan Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.25pm.

A special post-mortem took place on January 2 which gave the cause of death as stab injuries, police said. Formal identification of the teenager who died has not yet been made, but next of kin are aware.
